This Privacy Policy applies to Hitchhiker Carpooling application for Android identified by package name com.hitchhiker (“application”), administered by mendrejk ("us", "we", or "our"). If you do not consent to the provisions of this Privacy Policy, please, do not use this application.
By using the application, you consent to the provisions of this Privacy Policy and you grant us consent to process and use personal data within the scope and for the purpose specified below.
During the use of the application or the services associated with it, we collect and process the data of users for the purpose of providing services, to guarantee security and safety of the application and our users, and for a better understanding of the users' needs which subsequently enables us to improve our services, to personalize them and to display the data properly to other users. The data includes, in particular, unique identification of the user, email, full name, age range, gender, preferred language, portrait, personal rating, provided car information and mobile device identification. For the purpose of meeting with another user, we may also collect user's current location. The majority of the personal information is retrieved from the Facebook or Google user profile (depending on which one is chosen for signing in) and the user has to grant explicit permission to do so.
When you use the application or the services associated with it as a user, you acknowledge that some of your personal data is shared and disclosed to relevant users. The scope of shared and disclosed data includes full name, age range, gender, preferred language, portrait, personal rating and user's car information. To make two users meeting possible we also share their locations between each other, but nobody else. We guarantee that the data will not be provided to any third parties.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. All changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this site and become effective when published. By continuing to use application or associated services, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
